General Masonic principles of the Grand Lodge of Montenegro.
1- Freemasonry is a lawful traditional and universal initiatory association to fond on the Brotherhood. It is an alliance of free people and good customs, Twenty one years old people at least and recognising the Freemasons’s Ancient Duties of 1723 .
2- Freemasons recognise all peoples, without any difference of race, social position or religion.
3- Freemasonry aims at the moral development of its members and the practice of humanitarian principles. Besides, the Freemason tries hard of to work to put into practice and to spread outside the fundamental principles, of To fight relentlessly for the tolerance and the progress.
4- Freemasonry works in the Glory of the Great Architect of the Universe. She asserts the freedom of conscience, faith and thought. She respect all the sincere convictions and disapprove any opposition in the freedom of Thought. According to the old customs, any work makes in the presence of the
three Great Lights of Freemasonry, the Volume of the Sacred Law, the Square and the Compass.
5- The Lodge is a peaceful and neutral place where the human’s passions do not have access. The Lodge does not Allow the members to discuss about political or confessional questions.
6- The Freemason have the obligation to observe faithfully the laws of their Lodges. They can leave the Association as soon as their Convictions or their situation to demand that.
